Before the Gear Shift zones, before the Black Market dealt in Golden Bones, there was only Frenchieland — a dimension where gravity is optional, platforms are made of bacon, and every citizen is a French Bulldog with opinions.
The Founding Sprint
Legend says Frenchieland was not built — it was run into existence. The first Pied, whose name has been lost to smoothie history, dashed so hard through a thorn bush that the universe cracked open and revealed three vertical layers: the Ground where speed demons thrive, the Sky where clouds remember your name, and the Space where ground beef floats and Giardias patrol the void.
The Kennel Prophecy
As Frenchies multiplied across the dimension, their coat colors became genetic markers of accomplishment. Standard coats walked freely. Rare coats required proof of skill. Rare+ coats demanded mastery of merle patterns that bent light itself. And one coat — Pink — was prophesied to appear only when a runner conquered all twenty Cosmic Challenges and earned the right to wear the impossible.
The Mayor and the Crown
Frenchieland is governed not by elections but by Fame. The Mayor of Frenchieland is not a politician — they are the Frenchie who accumulated enough lifetime glory to earn the title. Past Mayors left relics behind: skulls that absorb damage, mandibles that lock reality, ribcages that warp space itself. These Fossil Relics now sit in the Black Market, waiting for worthy successors.
The Owner's Crew
Three legendary Frenchies — Cardi, Balenci, and Cartier — are said to be the dimension's anchors. They are not born from smoothies or challenges. They appear only when a runner proves they can cross brutal distances that would break lesser pups — each member gated behind hidden milestones only the most dedicated will uncover. Some say they are the creator's own companions, watching from the finish line that does not exist.
Your Run
Every time you press start, you add a verse to the Legend of Frenchieland. Whether you are a Neighborhood Loaf or an Emperor in waiting, the dimension remembers. Now run.
