Among all French Bulldog coats in Frenchieland Frenchies, Pink stands alone in the Exotic kennel category — and that is intentional design, not an oversight.
The Exotic Category Rules
The Cloud Kennel organizes coats into Standard, Rare, Rare+, Exotic, Legendary, and Owner's Crew. Exotic unlocks only after completing all 20 Cosmic Challenges across four tiers. No shortcuts, no smoothie bypass — you must prove mastery first.
Within Exotic, only Pink is currently playable. Merle, Platinum, and Pink Fluffy appear in the roster as "coming soon" placeholders — visible but locked for future content updates.
Why Not Merle or Platinum?
Blue Merle and Rojo Merle are Rare+ — intentionally. In real French Bulldog genetics, merle is controversial and complex. In-game, merle coats are prestigious but obtainable mid-endgame. Pink transcends that bracket because:
- It costs 5× more smoothies than the most expensive Rare+ coat (500,000 vs 250,000 oz).
- It requires Tier 4 God-Tier challenge completion, including the 10,000,000 point run.
- It is the only coat in its category — no dilution of prestige across multiple Exotic options yet.
Pink vs. Future Platinum
Platinum is listed as a future Exotic at Tier 4. When it launches, expect it to sit alongside Pink, not replace it. Pink will likely remain the "first Exotic" — the coat players earn when they first crack the Exotic gate. Platinum may demand additional mastery challenges or a higher smoothie price.
The Flex Factor
Seeing a Pink Frenchie on the leaderboard signals something unmistakable: this player finished Deep Space Explorer (10,000m), The Unbroken Chain, The Golden Hoarder, The Flawless Frenchie, and The Cosmic High Roller. Pink is not a cosmetic — it is a certificate of skill.
